According to scouts at NFL Draft Buzz, Bullard is an โaware zone cornerback/safety who also shows promise in man coverage, flashing physical hand usage at the line and straight-line speed to stay with receivers downfieldโ and has โimpressive football IQ and route recognition, adept at anticipating plays and quarterback intentions.โ
Bullard will likely spend time next new star safety Xavier McKinney and may even see time at cornerback as well. Scouts compare him to NFL players such as Lions safety/cornerback Kerby Joseph and Dolphins safety Jevon Holland.
