MADISON, WI (WSAU) – The Wisconsin Badgers landed a key 2025 recruit from Minnesota in athlete Luke Emmerich, beating out over a dozen schools that had also offered him.
According to 247Sports’s Allen Trieu, Emmerich has been climbing up in the Class of 2025 with 13 offers since April 20th and is expected to move around to a variety of positions, including safety or linebacker on the football field, after an impressive high school track career.
“On all my visits, they’re the place where it felt the most like home, and when I imagine myself playing college football, I see myself in a Badger uniform. When you know, you know,” Emmerich told the outlet.
Schools that had offered Emmerich included Washington, Iowa State, Washington State, Michigan State, Boston College, California, Utah, Nebraska, USC, Miami, Minnesota, and Kansas State.
